Guns N' Roses is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. They are known for their hard rock sound, which incorporates elements of blues, punk, and heavy metal. Guns N' Roses achieved massive commercial success with their debut album, "Appetite for Destruction," released in 1987, which is one of the best-selling debut albums of all time.
The band's most famous songs include "Sweet Child o' Mine," "Welcome to the Jungle," and "November Rain." Guns N' Roses went on to release several successful albums, but internal conflicts and lineup changes plagued the band over the years. Despite this, they remain one of the best-selling bands of all time, with over 100 million records sold worldwide. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
