Artist Bio:
Guy Marks was an American singer and actor, born on February 15, 1933, in Pennsylvania. He is best known for his novelty song "Loving You Has Made Me Bananas," released in 1968. The song became a surprise hit and reached number three on the Billboard Easy Listening chart and number 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Marks' unique vocal style and humorous lyrics contributed to the song's popularity.


Aside from his music career, Guy Marks also appeared in several television shows, including "The Monkees" and "The Beverly Hillbillies." He also had a brief appearance in the 1963 film "The Nutty Professor," starring Jerry Lewis. Despite his success with "Loving You Has Made Me Bananas," Guy Marks did not achieve significant commercial success with his other works, and he faded from the music scene in the following years. He passed away on November 28, 1987, in Los Angeles, California.
