Artist Bio:
Harold Dorman was an American singer and songwriter, best known for his 1960 hit song "Mountain of Love." Born on December 23, 1931, in Drew, Mississippi, Dorman began his music career in the late 1950s, recording for the Rita and Ralton record labels. His biggest success came with "Mountain of Love," which reached number 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became a popular song among country and rockabilly music fans.

Despite the success of "Mountain of Love," Dorman never had another hit as significant as his debut single. He continued to record music throughout the 1960s but was unable to replicate the success of his initial hit. Harold Dorman passed away on October 8, 1988, leaving behind a legacy as a one-hit wonder in the music industry.
