Heart is an American rock band formed in 1973 in Seattle, Washington. The band was originally made up of sisters Ann Wilson (lead vocals) and Nancy Wilson (guitar, vocals), along with other members including Howard Leese, Roger Fisher, Steve Fossen, and Michael Derosier. They are known for their blend of hard rock, folk, and pop music, and their powerful vocal performances.


Heart achieved commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits like "Barracuda," "Magic Man," "Crazy on You," and "Alone." They have sold over 35 million records worldwide. The band has gone through various lineup changes over the years but the core members, Ann and Nancy Wilson, have remained constant. Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
