Artist Bio:
Heavy D & The Boyz was a hip hop group formed in the late 1980s, fronted by Jamaican-born rapper Heavy D (Dwight Errington Myers). The group also consisted of members DJ Eddie F (Edward Ferrell), T-Roy (Troy Dixon), and G-Wiz (Glen Parrish). They were known for their upbeat, feel-good music that blended hip hop with elements of R&B and dancehall.

The group released several successful albums during the late 1980s and early 1990s, including "Living Large" (1987), "Big Tyme" (1989), and "Peaceful Journey" (1991). Their most well-known hits include "Now That We Found Love" and "Is It Good to You." Heavy D & The Boyz were influential in popularizing the fusion of hip hop and R&B music and were known for their positive lyrics and energetic performances. Tragically, Heavy D passed away in 2011 at the age of 44, but his music continues to be celebrated for its infectious energy and positive vibes.
