Hedgehoppers Anonymous was a British pop group formed in 1963. The band's most well-known and successful single was "It's Good News Week," which was released in 1965 and reached the Top 5 of the UK Singles Chart. The song also made it to the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, peaking at number 48. Despite their initial success, Hedgehoppers Anonymous disbanded in 1967.
The band's lineup consisted of Mick Tinsley, John Stewart, Alan Laud, and Terry Rae. Hedgehoppers Anonymous was known for their upbeat pop sound and catchy melodies, typical of the British Invasion music of the 1960s. While they may not have achieved long-lasting fame, their hit single "It's Good News Week" remains a popular track among fans of 1960s music.
