Henhouse Five Plus Too was a novelty band formed by Ray Stevens in the 1980s as a parody of the popular instrumental group Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. The group's name is a play on words, with "Henhouse Five" referencing a group of hens and "Too" suggesting an additional member. The band released an album titled "In the Mood" in 1987, featuring comedic versions of popular songs such as "In the Mood" and "Baby Elephant Walk."


Ray Stevens, the mastermind behind Henhouse Five Plus Too, is a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter known for his comedic country and pop songs.
