Artist Bio:
Hi-Five was an R&B group formed in Waco, Texas in the late 1980s. The group consisted of members Tony Thompson, Roderick "Pooh" Clark, Marcus Sanders, Russell Neal, and Toriano Easley. They achieved mainstream success in the early 1990s with their self-titled debut album, which included hit singles such as "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)" and "Just Another Girlfriend." The album was certified platinum and received critical acclaim for its smooth harmonies and catchy melodies.

Despite their initial success, Hi-Five faced challenges in the later years due to member changes and personal struggles. Tragically, lead vocalist Tony Thompson passed away in 2007. The group continued to perform and release music with various line-up changes over the years. Hi-Five's music continues to be celebrated by fans of 90s R&B, and they are remembered as one of the pioneering groups of the New Jack Swing era.
