Artist Bio:
Hole was an American alternative rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1989. The band was fronted by singer and guitarist Courtney Love, who was also the primary songwriter. The original lineup consisted of Love, guitarist Eric Erlandson, bassist Jill Emery, and drummer Caroline Rue. Hole gained popularity in the early 1990s with their raw and aggressive sound, often associated with the grunge movement.

Hole released four studio albums during their career, including "Pretty on the Inside" (1991), "Live Through This" (1994), "Celebrity Skin" (1998), and "Nobody's Daughter" (2010). Their most successful album, "Live Through This," received critical acclaim and was considered a landmark in alternative rock music. Hole disbanded in 2002 but reunited in 2009 for a brief period before disbanding again. Courtney Love continues to perform as a solo artist.
