House of Pain was an American hip-hop group formed in Los Angeles, California in 1991. The group consisted of members Everlast, Danny Boy, and DJ Lethal. They are best known for their hit single "Jump Around," which was released in 1992 and became a commercial success, reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
House of Pain released three studio albums during their career: "House of Pain" (1992), "Same As It Ever Was" (1994), and "Truth Crushed to Earth Shall Rise Again" (1996). The group's music often incorporated elements of Irish and hip-hop culture, with Everlast's Irish heritage being a prominent influence in their lyrical themes. House of Pain disbanded in 1996 but has reunited for occasional performances and tours since then.
