Ian Gomm is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist who rose to fame in the late 1970s. He is best known for his hit single "Hold On," which reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979. Gomm released several albums during his career, including "Summer Holiday" (1978) and "What a Blow" (1983).
