He rose to prominence as a member of the hip hop group N.W.A in the late 1980s and early 1990s, known for his aggressive lyrics and politically charged content. Ice Cube left the group in 1989 to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut album "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted" in 1990, which was a commercial and critical success.
