Artist Bio:
Icehouse is an Australian rock band formed in 1977 by songwriter and musician Iva Davies. The band achieved international success in the 1980s with their synth-pop sound, characterized by Davies' distinctive vocals and innovative use of synthesisers. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1980, included the hit single "Icehouse" which garnered them attention in their home country and abroad.

Icehouse went on to release several successful albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including "Primitive Man" and "Man of Colours," which produced chart-topping singles such as "Great Southern Land" and "Electric Blue." The band's sound evolved over the years, incorporating elements of new wave, pop, and rock. Despite various lineup changes, Iva Davies has remained the driving force behind Icehouse, which continues to tour and release music to this day.
