Immature was an American R&B group formed in 1990, consisting of members Marques "Batman" Houston, Jerome "Romeo" Jones, and Kelton "LDB" Kessee. The group was discovered by record producer Chris Stokes and signed to Virgin Records. Immature gained popularity in the 1990s with their mix of R&B, hip hop, and new jack swing music. They released their debut album "On Our Worst Behavior" in 1992, followed by several successful albums such as "Playtyme Is Over" and "We Got It".
In 1999, the group changed their name to IMx and continued to release music until disbanding in the early 2000s. Marques Houston went on to have a successful solo career in music and acting, while Romeo and LDB pursued other interests. Immature's music and style were influential in the R&B scene of the 1990s, and they remain a notable group in the genre's history.
