Immature was an American R&B group formed in 1990, consisting of members Marques "Batman" Houston, Jerome "Romeo" Jones, and Kelton "LDB" Kessee. The trio gained fame in the early 1990s as part of the new jack swing movement. Immature released their debut album, "On Our Worst Behavior," in 1992, which achieved moderate success. They later signed with MCA Records and released their second album, "Playtyme Is Over," in 1994, which featured hits like "Never Lie" and "Constantly."
In 1999, the group changed their name to IMx and continued to release music under this new moniker. They released several albums, including "Introducing IMx" and "IMx," before disbanding in the early 2000s. Marques Houston went on to have a successful solo career in music and acting, while Jerome Jones pursued a career in production and songwriting. Immature reunited in 2019 and released a new album, "Forever," in 2020.
