INXS was an Australian rock band that was formed in Sydney in 1977. The band's original lineup consisted of Garry Gary Beers on bass guitar, brothers Andrew Farriss on keyboards and guitar, Jon Farriss on drums, Tim Farriss on lead guitar, and Kirk Pengilly on guitar and saxophone. The group achieved worldwide fame in the 1980s and 1990s with hits like "Need You Tonight," "New Sensation," and "Suicide Blonde."
INXS released a total of 12 studio albums and sold over 50 million records worldwide during their career. The band's charismatic frontman, Michael Hutchence, was known for his distinctive voice and energetic stage presence. Tragically, Hutchence passed away in 1997, leading to the disbandment of INXS in 2012. Despite this, the band's music continues to be celebrated by fans around the world for its unique blend of rock, pop, and funk influences.
