Artist Bio:
INXS was an Australian rock band formed in 1977 in Sydney. The band's original members were Garry Gary Beers on bass guitar, brothers Andrew Farriss on keyboards and guitar, Jon Farriss on drums, Tim Farriss on lead guitar, and Kirk Pengilly on guitar and saxophone. The band's original lead singer, Michael Hutchence, became the face of the band with his charismatic stage presence and distinctive voice.
INXS achieved worldwide success in the 1980s and 1990s with hits like "Need You Tonight," "New Sensation," and "Never Tear Us Apart." They were known for their catchy pop-rock sound and Hutchence's sultry vocals. The band won numerous awards, including multiple MTV Video Music Awards and ARIA Awards. Tragically, Michael Hutchence passed away in 1997, leading to the disbandment of INXS in 2012 after a long and successful career.
