INXS was an Australian rock band formed in 1977 in Sydney. The band's original lineup consisted of vocalist Michael Hutchence, guitarist and saxophonist Kirk Pengilly, guitarist Tim Farriss, bassist Garry Gary Beers, drummer Jon Farriss, and keyboardist and guitarist Andrew Farriss. INXS achieved international success in the 1980s and 1990s with hits such as "Need You Tonight," "New Sensation," and "Devil Inside."

INXS released a total of 12 studio albums, with their most successful being "Kick" in 1987, which sold over 6 million copies in the US alone. The band won numerous awards throughout their career, including multiple MTV Video Music Awards and Grammy nominations. Tragically, lead singer Michael Hutchence died in 1997, leading to the eventual disbandment of INXS in 2012. Despite their ups and downs, INXS remains one of the most iconic and successful bands to come out of Australia.
