Artist Bio:
Jack Wild was a British actor and singer, born on September 30, 1952, in Royton, Lancashire, England. He is best known for his role as the Artful Dodger in the 1968 film adaptation of the musical "Oliver!" directed by Carol Reed. Wild received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film, which was his big break in the entertainment industry.

In addition to his acting career, Jack Wild also released several music albums and singles throughout the 1970s. He had a hit single with the song "The Dreamer" in 1971. Wild continued to work in film, television, and theater throughout his career, but struggled with alcoholism and health issues. Sadly, he passed away on March 1, 2006, at the age of 53 due to complications from oral cancer.
