Artist Bio:
Jackie Wilson, born on June 9, 1934, was an American singer known as one of the most dynamic and influential vocalists in the history of rhythm and blues music. Wilson began his career as a member of the R&B vocal group The Dominoes before launching a successful solo career in the late 1950s. He was nicknamed "Mr. Excitement" due to his energetic performances and impressive vocal range.

Wilson's hits include "Lonely Teardrops," "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher," and "Reet Petite." He was known for his smooth voice, impressive dance moves, and charismatic stage presence. Wilson's influence extended to future generations of musicians, including Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, and James Brown. Sadly, Wilson suffered a heart attack on stage in 1975, which left him in a coma until his death in 1984 at the age of 49.
