The Jackson 5 was an American music group formed in 1964 in Gary, Indiana. The group consisted of five brothers: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and a young Michael Jackson. They were signed to Motown Records in 1968 and achieved great success with hits such as "I Want You Back," "ABC," and "I'll Be There." The Jackson 5 were known for their catchy pop and soul music, as well as their synchronized dance moves.

The group's success led to Michael Jackson eventually becoming a solo superstar, while his brothers continued to perform as The Jacksons. The Jackson 5 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and their music continues to be celebrated for its influence on pop music and its lasting impact on the music industry.
