Jackson Browne is an American singer-songwriter and musician known for his introspective lyrics and folk-rock sound. He was born on October 9, 1948, in Heidelberg, Germany, but grew up in California. Browne released his self-titled debut album in 1972, which included the hit song "Doctor My Eyes." Over the course of his career, he has released numerous successful albums, including "Late for the Sky," "The Pretender," and "Running on Empty."


In addition to his solo work, Jackson Browne has collaborated with other artists such as the Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. He is also known for his activism and involvement in social and environmental causes. Browne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Throughout his career, he has been praised for his songwriting abilities and his ability to connect with his audience through his music.
