James Blunt, born James Hillier Blount on February 22, 1974, is a British singer-songwriter known for his soulful voice and emotional ballads. He rose to fame with his debut album "Back to Bedlam" in 2004, which included the hit singles "You're Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover." The album was a commercial success, reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart and selling over 11 million copies worldwide.


Blunt's music is characterized by his heartfelt lyrics, often drawing from personal experiences. He has released several albums since his debut, including "All the Lost Souls" in 2007, "Some Kind of Trouble" in 2010, and "Moon Landing" in 2013.
