Known as the "Godfather of Soul," Brown is recognized as one of the most important figures in the development of music genres such as funk and soul. His career spanned over six decades, during which he released numerous hit songs including "I Got You (I Feel Good)," "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," and "Sex Machine."
Brown's energetic performances and distinctive voice made him a dynamic and electrifying presence on stage, earning him the nickname "The Hardest Working Man in Show Business." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1992.
