Brown is renowned for his influential contributions to the development of funk music and his energetic stage performances. He is also credited with popularizing a dance style known as the "James Brown Dance" or the "Good Foot." Brown began his music career in the 1950s and went on to release numerous hit songs, including "I Got You (I Feel Good)," "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag," and "It's a Man's Man's Man's World."
