Artist Bio:
Jan & Dean were an American rock duo consisting of Jan Berry and Dean Torrence. They rose to fame in the early 1960s with a string of hits that included "Surf City," "The Little Old Lady from Pasadena," and "Dead Man's Curve." They were known for their surf rock and vocal harmonies, and were part of the California surf music scene.

Tragically, Jan Berry was involved in a serious car accident in 1966 that left him with brain damage and impaired motor skills. Despite this setback, Jan & Dean continued to perform and record music, with Dean often taking on a larger role in the duo. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2008. Jan & Dean's music remains popular among fans of surf rock and oldies music.
