Jane's Addiction is known for pioneering the alternative rock and alternative metal genres, blending elements of punk rock, heavy metal, and psychedelic rock in their music.


The band released their debut studio album, "Nothing's Shocking," in 1988, followed by their critically acclaimed album "Ritual de lo Habitual" in 1990.
