Artist Bio:
Jay and the Techniques was an American pop group formed in Allentown, Pennsylvania in the mid-1960s. The group was fronted by lead singer Jay Proctor and initially consisted of six members. They gained popularity in the mid-1960s with their catchy, upbeat songs that blended elements of pop, soul, and R&B.

Their biggest hit came in 1967 with the song "Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie," which reached number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group continued to release music throughout the late 1960s, but they never quite replicated the success of their biggest hit. Jay and the Techniques are remembered as a one-hit wonder group from the 1960s, known for their infectious dance tunes and soulful vocals.
