Artist Bio:
Jefferson Starship is an American rock band that was formed in 1974 as a successor to the band Jefferson Airplane. The band's members have included former Jefferson Airplane members Grace Slick, Paul Kantner, and Marty Balin, as well as new members such as Mickey Thomas and Craig Chaquico. Jefferson Starship achieved commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with hits like "Miracles" and "Jane."

The band's sound evolved over the years, blending elements of rock, pop, and even electronic music. Jefferson Starship went through several lineup changes and hiatuses but continued to tour and record music into the 21st century. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 as part of Jefferson Airplane.
