One of Warnes' most famous recordings is "Up Where We Belong," a duet with Joe Cocker from the soundtrack of the film "An Officer and a Gentleman," which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1983. In addition to her successful music career, Warnes has also appeared in films such as "Scorpio" and "The Commitments."
