Stewart gained fame as a solo artist with his 1986 album "Frantic Romantic," which featured the hit single "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off," reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Stewart continued to release music throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, with other popular songs including "Jody" and "Say It Again." Tragically, Jermaine Stewart passed away on March 17, 1997, at the young age of 39 due to complications from AIDS.
