He is best known for his work in the music industry during the 1960s and 1970s. Fuller began his career as a singer, releasing several singles in the early 1960s, including the hit song "Betty My Angel" in 1959. He later transitioned to songwriting and producing, working with artists such as Ricky Nelson and Gary Puckett & The Union Gap.


Fuller is credited with writing several successful songs, including "Travelin' Man" for Ricky Nelson and "Young Girl" for Gary Puckett & The Union Gap. He also served as a producer for artists like O.C. Smith and Mark Lindsay. In addition to his music career, Fuller had a brief stint as a recording artist for Challenge Records in the early 1960s.
