Artist Bio:
Jerry Garcia (1942-1995) was an American musician best known as the lead guitarist and vocalist for the iconic rock band Grateful Dead. Born in San Francisco, Garcia co-founded the Grateful Dead in 1965, a band that would go on to become one of the most enduring and influential in rock history. Known for his distinctive guitar playing style and soulful vocals, Garcia helped shape the sound of the band, which blended elements of rock, folk, blues, and psychedelia.


In addition to his work with the Grateful Dead, Garcia also pursued a successful solo career, releasing several albums both with his own band and in collaboration with other musicians.
