Artist Bio:
Jerry Lee Lewis is an American singer, songwriter, and pianist, born on September 29, 1935, in Ferriday, Louisiana. He is considered one of the pioneers of rock and roll music and is known for his energetic piano playing and wild stage presence. Lewis rose to fame in the 1950s with hits such as "Great Balls of Fire" and "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On."

Despite his musical success, Lewis' career was overshadowed by personal controversies, including marrying his 13-year-old cousin when he was 22 years old. This scandal led to a decline in his popularity, but Lewis continued to perform and record music throughout the following decades. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and is still regarded as a significant figure in the history of rock and roll music.
