Jerry Reed, born Jerry Reed Hubbard on March 20, 1937, was an American country music singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He gained fame in the 1970s with hit songs such as "Amos Moses" and "When You're Hot, You're Hot." Reed was also known for his exceptional guitar skills, which earned him the nickname "The Guitar Man." In addition to his successful music career, Reed also had a notable acting career, appearing in films such as "Smokey and the Bandit" alongside Burt Reynolds. Reed was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017, recognizing his significant contributions to the country music genre.


Jerry Reed passed away on September 1, 2008, at the age of 71. Throughout his career, he released numerous albums and singles, winning multiple awards, including a Grammy for his song "When You're Hot, You're Hot."
