Throughout his career, Wallace released numerous hit singles, including "Primrose Lane," which reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1959. He continued to have success on the country music charts with songs like "There She Goes" and "If You Leave Me Tonight I'll Cry."
In addition to his music career, Jerry Wallace also appeared in several films and television shows. He made his acting debut in the 1960 film "Because They're Young" and went on to appear in movies such as "Hootenanny Hoot" and "Cottonpickin' Chickenpickers."
