Jerry Wallace was an American country and pop singer born on December 15, 1928, in Guilford, Missouri. He began his music career in the late 1950s and gained fame in the 1960s with hits such as "Primrose Lane" and "Shutters and Boards." Wallace's smooth voice and heartfelt delivery earned him a loyal fan base and multiple chart-topping singles. He was known for his versatile singing style, which allowed him to seamlessly transition between country and pop music genres.
Throughout his career, Jerry Wallace released over 45 albums and had more than 25 charting singles. He was inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame in 2011 for his contributions to the music industry. Wallace continued to perform and record music until his passing on May 5, 2008, in Corona, California.
