Jerry Wallace was an American country and pop singer known for his smooth tenor voice. He was born on December 15, 1928, in Guilford, Missouri, and began his music career in the 1950s. Wallace achieved his first major success with the song "How the Time Flies," which reached the top 10 on the Billboard country charts in 1958. He went on to have several more hits in the 1960s and 1970s, including "Primrose Lane" and "In the Misty Moonlight," both of which reached the top 10 on the country and pop charts.


Wallace continued to record and perform throughout the 1980s and 1990s, building a loyal fan base with his distinctive voice and heartfelt performances. He passed away on May 5, 2008, in Corona, California, leaving behind a legacy of music that continues to be cherished by fans of classic country and pop music.
