Artist Bio:
Jill Corey was an American traditional pop music singer who rose to fame in the 1950s. She was born on September 30, 1935, in Avonmore, Pennsylvania. Corey's career began when she won a local talent contest at the age of 13, leading to appearances on various radio and television programs. She signed with Columbia Records in 1953 and released several successful singles, including "Love Me to Pieces" and "Let It Be Me".


Corey also appeared in movies and television shows, including "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom". Despite her initial success, she eventually left the music industry in the 1960s to focus on raising her family. Jill Corey passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 85.
