Artist Bio:
Jim Capaldi was a British musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the drummer for the rock band Traffic. Born in 1944 in England, Capaldi was a founding member of Traffic along with Steve Winwood, Dave Mason, and Chris Wood. He was known for his soulful voice and diverse musical talents, playing a key role in the band's success throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s.


In addition to his work with Traffic, Capaldi released several solo albums and collaborated with various artists in his career. He had a successful solo career with hits such as "Love Hurts" and "That's Love." Capaldi was also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Traffic in 2004. He passed away in 2005 at the age of 60, leaving behind a legacy as a talented musician and songwriter.
