Artist Bio:
Jim Reeves was an American country and popular music singer-songwriter. Born in 1923 in Texas, Reeves rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s with his smooth, velvety voice and hits like "Four Walls" and "He'll Have to Go." He is known for popularizing the Nashville sound, a subgenre of country music characterized by slick production and orchestral arrangements. Reeves was also a talented songwriter, penning many of his own songs.


Reeves was tragically killed in a plane crash in 1964 at the age of 40, cutting short a promising career. Despite his untimely death, Jim Reeves' music continues to be celebrated and remembered by fans of country and popular music around the world. He was posthumously inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1967.
