Artist Bio:
Jimmy Barnes is a Scottish-Australian rock singer and songwriter who was born on April 28, 1956. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Cold Chisel, which achieved success in the 1970s and 1980s. Barnes has also had a successful solo career, releasing numerous albums that have topped the Australian charts.


Barnes has won multiple ARIA Awards, including Album of the Year for his solo album "Soul Deep" in 1992. He is known for his powerful and raspy voice, which has earned him the nickname "Barnesy." In addition to his music career, Barnes has also published two autobiographies, "Working Class Boy" and "Working Class Man," which detail his upbringing in Scotland and Australia and his struggles with addiction.
