Artist Bio:
Jimmy Dean was an American country music singer, television host, and actor, born on August 10, 1928, in Texas. He achieved his greatest success in the music industry during the 1950s and 1960s, with hits such as "Big Bad John" and "The First Thing Every Morning." Dean was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010 in recognition of his contributions to the genre. In addition to his music career, Dean also found success as a television personality, hosting his own variety show, "The Jimmy Dean Show," which aired from 1963 to 1966.


Outside of music and television, Dean also had a successful acting career, appearing in films such as "Diamonds Are Forever" and "Big Bad John." He was also known for his entrepreneurial ventures, most notably as the founder of the Jimmy Dean Sausage Company. Dean passed away on June 13, 2010, at the age of 81, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the world of country music and entertainment.
