Jimmy Dean was born on August 10, 1928, in Plainview, Texas, and was a successful country music singer, television host, and actor. He gained fame for his hits such as "Big Bad John" and also hosted his own television variety show, The Jimmy Dean Show. Apart from his music career, Dean was a successful businessman, known for founding the Jimmy Dean sausage brand. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010. Dean passed away on June 13, 2010, at the age of 81.
