The band consists of members Jim Adkins (vocals, guitar), Tom Linton (guitar, vocals), Rick Burch (bass guitar), and Zach Lind (drums). They are known for their melodic rock sound and emotional lyrics, often exploring themes of relationships, youth, and self-discovery.


Their breakthrough album "Bleed American" was released in 2001, featuring the hit single "The Middle," which garnered mainstream success and critical acclaim. Jimmy Eat World has since released several successful albums, including "Futures" (2004), "Chase This Light" (2007), and "Integrity Blues" (2016).
