After The Runaways disbanded in the late 1970s, Joan Jett went on to form Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, where she found even greater success. One of her most famous hits is "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1982. Jett is known for her pioneering role in the male-dominated rock music industry, breaking barriers for women in rock and roll.
