John O'Banion was an American singer and actor born on February 25, 1947, in Coleman, Texas. He began his career as a singer in the 1970s and gained popularity with his soft rock and pop music. O'Banion released several albums during his career, with his most successful hits including "Love You Like I Never Loved Before" and "I Don't Want to Lose Your Love."
In addition to his music career, O'Banion also ventured into acting, appearing in several television shows and movies. He had a recurring role on the TV show "Alice" and also appeared in films such as "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia." John O'Banion's career was tragically cut short when he passed away on February 14, 2007, at the age of 59.
