Artist Bio:
Johnny And The Hurricanes were an American instrumental rock and roll band formed in Toledo, Ohio in 1958. The band was led by saxophonist Johnny Paris and became known for their energetic and catchy instrumental songs. Their biggest hit was "Red River Rock," which reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1959. The band's sound was characterized by Paris's saxophone playing, supported by a driving rhythm section and catchy melodies.

Johnny And The Hurricanes continued to release instrumental rock songs throughout the 1960s, with other notable hits including "Crossfire" and "Reveille Rock." The band toured extensively and gained a following for their lively performances. While their popularity waned in the late 1960s, Johnny And The Hurricanes left a lasting impact on the instrumental rock genre and are still remembered for their contributions to the music of the era.
