Johnny Bond was an American country music singer and songwriter, born on June 1, 1915, in Enville, Oklahoma. He began his music career in the 1930s, gaining popularity for his honky-tonk style and Western swing music. Bond was known for his distinctive voice and energetic performances, which helped him establish himself as a successful artist in the country music scene.


Throughout his career, Johnny Bond recorded numerous hit songs, including "Divorce Me C.O.D." and "So Round, So Firm, So Fully Packed." He also wrote songs for other artists, such as "Cimarron" for Wesley Tuttle. Bond was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1999 in recognition of his contributions to country music. He passed away on June 12, 1978, leaving behind a legacy as a talented musician and songwriter in the country music genre.
