Johnny Burnette was an American rockabilly singer and guitarist born on March 25, 1934, in Memphis, Tennessee. He started his music career with his brother Dorsey Burnette, forming the Rock and Roll Trio in the 1950s. They had several hits together before Johnny embarked on a solo career. Known for his energetic performances and rockabilly style, Burnette released a string of singles in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Tragically, he died in a boating accident on August 14, 1964, at the young age of 30. Despite his short career, Johnny Burnette left a lasting impact on the rockabilly genre.
